Midtown Bootboys

7 unreleased songs taken from band's practice in 1988

Celtic Dawn

Celtic Dawn was a Skinhead R.A.C band from Ireland and they formed in the early 90’s. They were originally an Oi! band called Skin Appeal, and in 1988 supported The Business. In 1989 the line up changed, singer was also replaced and band was renamed Celtic Dawn. The new singer was a NS and new material and name embodied that. Celtic Dawn played several very successful gigs in their hometown Dublin and in ‘91 they got to support Skrewdriver in their first UK show. Celtic Dawn recorded a 4 track demo that was never released, line up changed a few times throughout the years and when they recorded their debut album 'Faith & Fatherland' (Viking Records - Netherlands) they had a new line up once again. I post their rare demo of 1989 included one unreleased practice song of 1991 and interviews.

The Concrete Gods - Welcome To The Empire Club

Long time ago when they released their first cd but the band included members from Straw Dogs and Syper Yob, is back with second cd. Punk rock '77 / mod sound with Anglo-centric lyrics.

Crowbar

Behind this old British Oi! band was only one person and was a studio band with only this release from 'Skinhead Records' (self titled) in 1983. After years in 2000, Captain Oi! put these two tracks in compilation 'Oi! The Rarities Vol.3' together with unpolitical and patriotic bands. I dont know if the guy from the band was informing about this from Mark Brennan (Captain Oi!) but when he wrote his songs it was involved in R.A.C movement and maybe thats why the cover in The Clash song, White Riot. If this dont tell you nothing, maybe the song Hippie Punks tell's you...

Harry Brown

An old man takes revenge for his friend's murder and he clean up the streets from whiggers and junkies. Harry Brown is here and if you like Charles Bronson (Deathwish) you will like him also!
